Johnny Mountain announced
on Monday January 31st that he would retire from his position as a
weather forecaster on ABC7 EYEWITNESS NEWS.
Members of the abc7 Eyewitness News Team gave Johnny an on-air farewell during the 5pm newscast on Monday,
Jan. 31st.

RAINES RETURNS:
ABC7 Meteorologist Dallas Raines
has recovered from surgery
performed on Monday, January 3, 2005. Dallas had his prostate removed
after he was informed by his doctor that he had early stage
prostate cancer.
In an effort to make ABC7 viewers aware of prostate cancer and
how early detection of cancer is vital for a
good outcome, KABC-TV has launched a Prostate Cancer Public Service Campaign.
ABC7LA has embraced the latest technology to bring you high quality
videos to download and share with your family and friends.
Dallas urges all men to be screened for cancer.
You can find out more information from your doctor or get a referral for testing
from the American Cancer Society. A
simple blood test can reveal so much.
