A woman identifying herself only as
"E.V." , is suing her plastic surgeons and KABC-TV, alleging that they
invaded her privacy by showing her "before" and "after" pictures to
"millions" on the November 23 broadcast of the Channel 7 evening news,
reports the Los AngelesTimes.
In her Los Angeles Superior Court lawsuit, the woman is seeking
unspecified damages from Dr. Renato Calabria and ABC, claiming that
she had refused three separate requests-made through her doctor's
office--to allow her photos to be used on television.
Court papers allege that Calabria referred to E.V. as his "model
patient."
Channel 7 would not comment on the pending lawsuit, while Calabria
said he hasn't been served with any suit.
"I have no idea what you're talking about," he said.
