NEW YORK —
Baseball owners meeting in New York have approved the sale of the Angels from the Walt Disney Company to independent businessman Arturo Moreno.He becomes the first minority with a controlling interest in a Major League Team.
The price tag for the Angels was 185 million dollars.
It comes following the club's most successful season ever. They beat the San Francisco Giants in seven games in the World Series.
