To
take advantage of the NBA playoffs, Philadelphia, Pa.-based Comcast Cable
last week began carrying the high-definition television (HDTV) signals of
KNBC-TV,
KABC-TV,
KCET (PBS), as well as the standard definition programming from Fox
affiliate KTTV. Absent from the group is CBS affiliate KCBS-TV,
which was unable to reach a carriage agreement with Comcast, the
country's largest cable and broadband communications provider. |
